Summer Is Over?

Maybe summer is slowly coming to an end, but I wanted to use one of those bright days in Cologne for another relaxed lifestyle shoot with Catherine Reus. Under the crane houses, the modern architecture and open space gave us exactly the kind of setting I like for Highstyle: clean, urban, and simple enough to let the outfit do most of the work. The light still felt like summer, which made the whole shoot a little ironic considering the title.

Latex Without Looking Overdressed

Catherine wore a striped crop top with a two-layer latex skirt and wedge shoes, finished with a shiny black collar. The combination felt light and playful, even with the glossy latex catching the sunlight. That is what I like about Highstyle: latex does not have to dominate the whole outfit. It can simply become one material among others and still change the entire character of the look. The layered skirt added movement, while the wedges kept everything casual enough to feel like something between fashion and everyday styling.

One More Warm Day In Cologne

The atmosphere was easy, almost like we were just taking a walk and happened to bring a camera along. No complicated set, no dramatic concept, just movement, sunshine, modern architecture, and a little bit of late-summer energy. Catherine could move freely through the space, play with the skirt, lean against the railings, and let the outfit work naturally with the location. If this really was one of the last warm days, at least we used it properly and turned it into one more summer memory before autumn takes over.
