Leila Herring - Ballet Wedge Highstyle
I shot Leila Herring in a luxe, almost dreamlike setup — her body stretched out on a plush, gray-furred couch, draped in glossy black latex. She wore the new ballet wedge boots, a 48cm corset that cinched her waist to near-impossible perfection, and one of those new collars that’s suddenly everywhere. she didn’t even know she was wearing it during the shoot — apparently, she was too busy being Leila, the woman who makes every angle look like a fashion editorial, even when she’s lying down, staring at the camera like she’s already in another universe.
The ballet wedges? They looked good in the shot, but not in real life. Leila tried walking in them — and the result? Not the kind of movement you’d want to edit into a commercial. The wedges, while stylish, are clearly not made for strutting. I guess that’s why they’re called “ballet” wedges — they’re for posing, not power-walking. And Leila, being Leila, didn’t even realize she was wearing the new collar until I reminded her later. She just grinned and said, “Oh, that’s the one that’s been on everyone’s lips.” The girls love it — even if it doesn’t always fit, they wear it as if it were the only thing that matters. And honestly? It’s working. The collar’s selling, and the corset’s got people talking. So, while Leila may have forgotten she was wearing it, the world didn’t. And that’s the real win.
