Red and Black Fishnet

This shoot with Sophie came together naturally- the kind that doesn’t need overplanning because everything just clicks. The combination of red latex, black corset, and fishnet stockings created a bold look that immediately stood out against the old brick-and-glass textures of the abandoned fabric building. The contrast between polished latex and decaying industrial details shaped the visual tension we wanted, a mix of new energy and forgotten past. She moved with quiet confidence, letting each pose settle against that gritty, weathered backdrop.

The styling took a risk in texture, and it paid off. I’ve never been much of a fan of pairing nylon with latex, but this time it worked. The fishnets broke up the reflective surfaces, adding pattern and attitude that softened the red shine without dulling it. The short black latex skirt and corset anchored the look, giving symmetry to her silhouette. Every line and angle in the photo connected back to that intersection between rebellion and elegance.

From a creative point of view, this session felt like a statement about mixing opposites—old and new, industrial and sensual, glossy and rough. The location made it real, while Sophie’s performance made it alive. Shoots like this show how latex can thrive outside sterile studio setups; it adapts, reflects, and always transforms in response to the environment.
