A Latex Skater Girl in Public

When I first met Juli Lollipop, I was struck by her youthful look and her bright, energetic personality. She arrived with a skateboard, which was completely new to me when it came to working with models, and it immediately suggested a clear visual direction.

In her skater pants and fitted shirt, it was easy to imagine how that attitude could translate into a latex-based skater-girl concept. The idea felt fresh from the start because it grew naturally out of who she was rather than being imposed from the outside.

After a bit of practice getting used to the 18-inch corset, we headed out to shoot, and the look had exactly the effect I had hoped for. She carried the styling with confidence and personality, and there was no doubt that she attracted the attention she was looking for.
