A Difficult Pool Shoot

Taking three girls in latex to a public pool for a photoshoot sounded like a great idea at first. In practice, though, coordinating Juli Lollipop, Alexandra Corneille, and newcomer Samira York proved far more complicated than expected, and it quickly became the kind of production I would not be eager to repeat.

Part of the problem was that the concept lost clarity along the way. With so many elements competing for attention, the shoot never fully settled into a strong visual direction, and that uncertainty affected the final outcome.

As a result, the number of truly usable images was much lower than I had hoped. Even so, experiences like this are part of the process, and sometimes the shoots that seem most promising on paper are the ones that reveal how important focus and simplicity really are.
