Latex for a Day With Ripped Denim

Alexandra Potter spent the day in latex because I had another model at the shoot, and even if that did not make the situation any easier for her, she responded creatively. Instead of resisting the mood, she ripped her denim jeans and turned the whole styling into something rougher, sharper, and more expressive. That decision gave the shoot its character by introducing a raw edge that worked beautifully against the polished black latex.

What I like here is the tension between control and damage. The latex body remains sleek, tight, and reflective, while the torn denim breaks that smoothness, giving the image a more rebellious tone. It feels less like a carefully protected fashion look and more like something lived in, pushed further, and made stronger through that contrast.

For me, this guest shoot stands out because it found its identity through adaptation. Alexandra took a situation that might simply have been uncomfortable and transformed it into a visual idea with attitude and presence. That kind of spontaneity can give a set more life than perfect planning, and here it created a rougher look that feels memorable precisely because it is not too polished.
