I would have loved to shoot with Rhina De La Tex for a whole week in the desert, because that kind of setting would have suited her presence and style perfectly. But with the limited time she has as an agency model and those locations far from the studio, that idea simply was not realistic. Sometimes a concept outgrows what the schedule allows, and this was one of those cases.

What mattered to me was not forcing the original fantasy at all costs, but finding something that could still carry the same spirit for this particular shoot. That shift is part of the creative process as well, because it means letting go of the ideal version and paying attention to what is actually possible in the moment. In this case, we found something that worked, and that solution gave the session its own strength rather than feeling like a compromise.

I think that is what made the result satisfying for me. Even though it was not the full desert project I had imagined, it still captured enough of that mood, openness, and fashion-driven atmosphere to feel worthwhile. With Rhina, that kind of adaptation works especially well because she has the presence to carry an idea convincingly even when it has to be translated into a more practical form.
