Highstyle in a Color Scheme

Color can shift the entire energy of a shoot, and this one was built entirely around that idea. After working mostly with black latex, we decided to explore softness and contrast through pink. The tone had to be confident, not fragile, so the styling balanced playful shades with sharp structure. The latex gloves and heels created a rhythm of repetition—pink mirroring pink—while the short floral dress kept the mood light and approachable. Every detail felt intentional without overcomplicating the look.

The white background worked as a blank page, amplifying every color choice. Beth moved with awareness, her body language echoing the palette's delicacy but never letting it turn too pretty. There’s an attitude under that pastel surface, a quiet resistance to the idea that latex must always read as dark or edgy. The light tones opened space to explore a different kind of strength: refined, composed, but still undeniably bold.

This color scheme reminded me how simple shifts can redefine a visual language. By staying within the pink spectrum, the image reads as unified yet alive, like confidence disguised as charm. It’s a direction worth keeping open for future shoots: bright, smart, and slightly mischievous.
