Cozy Latex Ballet
Photographing Sophia Levine for this session was all about merging raw urban minimalism with her natural elegance and strength. She wore a glossy latex catsuit paired unexpectedly with an oversized fleece hoodie, an intentional clash of textures that turned each frame into something quietly arresting. Posed en pointe in her ballet shoes against the clean, stark lines of the concrete stairwell, Sophia transformed an ordinary setting into a subtle stage for her balance and poise.
The soft light drifting through the glass above brought out every detail of the latex’s sheen, while the fleece hoodie softened the overall mood, grounding the look in cozy realism. I loved how the reflective surface of the latex flowed like a second skin, amplifying her lines and movements without overpowering the calm strength in her posture. Her calm expression and focused presence gave the shoot its understated edge, delicate yet undeniably powerful.
What made this shoot special was watching Sophia bring the concept to life with genuine ease. She owns her balance and her style equally, proving that latex isn’t just dramatic; it can be empowering, casual, and quietly bold. The end result is a series that captures the simple harmony between softness and shine, elegance and edge, everything I wanted to share through latexperiment.
