Turquoise Coat and Latex

There’s a certain visual poetry to this shoot with Shayna LáToya Xaria that just clicked instantly. The combination of her in the catsuit with that vibrant turquoise coat was unexpectedly brilliant, a refreshingly modern juxtaposition. It felt like a statement—a playful declaration of style that just worked. Sometimes, inspiration arrives when you least expect it. Seeing what Shayna had worn on the way to the shoot sparked an idea, and I’m incredibly pleased with how it translated into these images. There’s a certain confidence that emanates from her, and I think the turquoise really amplifies it.

The concept aligns directly with my ongoing exploration of seamlessly blending latex with everyday fashion, demonstrating that it’s far more than just a niche aesthetic. I was slightly bummed the coat wasn’t latex, but it’s definitely on my radar for “latexkind” – my new fashion brand launching in the coming weeks. I’m envisioning a full latex coat, and it will be spectacular. It proves that I’m going to be doing this for a long time, pushing boundaries and creating something truly unique. A few people have asked me what my vision for latexkind is, and I’m excited to bring it to life.

For future shoots, we’re absolutely revisiting the catsuit – frequently. Shayna looks phenomenal in that color (which, as you can see, got a slight tweak during editing—subtle but necessary to enhance the overall impact).
