Black and Blue Editorial Fashion

Myra Reed arrived with the kind of energy that makes an editorial shoot feel effortless. She is sporty, sharp, and comfortable in her body, which always shows in the first few minutes behind the camera. I brought her back to this outdoor location, now with a glass roof covering the main structure, and she immediately connected with the space.

This time, we worked on the backside of the installation to get a different angle and a cleaner architectural frame. She chose the blue latex leggings again, but instead of the black body under the black blouse, she decided that white latex would create a stronger contrast. She was right. The combination gave her look more clarity and pushed the entire outfit into a bolder, more editorial direction.

She pays attention to how textures and colors interact, and she is not afraid to take the lead when something feels more visually balanced. I would have liked her in the all-black version as well, but her white-and-blue combination created a crisp tension against the concrete stairs and the steel framework overhead. The boots anchored the whole look and kept the outfit grounded, even with the bright leggings drawing the eye.
