Pink Latex in Public

It’s rare to find the Rhine so quiet, but on this day it worked out perfectly for a full dance shoot. The light was soft, the temperature just right, and the open path gave Imogen Roudine all the space she needed to move freely. Her bright pink latex ballet outfit caught every reflection of the setting sun, making her movements even more striking against the riverside backdrop.

As she leaped and spun, people passing by couldn’t help but stop. Some watched in silence, others with clear surprise on their faces. One elderly woman even added her own running commentary, which Imogen noticed but didn’t let break her focus. Still, it was a reminder of how unusual and bold this performance must have looked in such a public place.

Despite the distraction, Imogen gave herself fully to the moment. The dance was fluid, playful, and determined all at once, and we didn’t need long to capture what we wanted. Once the last poses were done, we wrapped up and left, satisfied with a shoot that balanced performance, fashion, and the unpredictability of the public eye.
