Colorful Shower

The series takes the practical reality of shooting in latex on a hot day and turns it into the concept itself: Mizzgaza cooling down in the shower, fully dressed, in a multicolored latex catsuit with a black waist corset cinched over it. The suit combines neon green sleeves, a black-and-sky-blue body panel, and a pink zip running from the collar to the waist; hot pink platform heels and semi-transparent black latex tights complete the look. The warm stone-tiled shower enclosure gives the series an intimate, unguarded quality that a studio would not produce.

The color palette is the loudest in her series so far, and the wet latex adds a dimension that dry studio shots cannot replicate; the material darkens, clings differently, and reflects light with more variation across the surface. Mizzgaza clearly enjoyed the session, and the smile throughout the series is as much about the relief of the cold water as it is about the shoot itself.

It is one of those concepts that works precisely because it was not planned as a concept; necessity produced something more spontaneous and visually alive than a prepared setup often does.
