Latex Pool Time

The series puts Alexandra Potter in a studio paddling pool with an inflatable orca and a beach ball, the setup entirely her own idea once the pool was filled and ready. The outfit is by Adriana Latex: a black latex body with a pleated ruffled skirt and a matching latex hood that frames the face and gathers her hair into a high ponytail at the back. The combination of the deep black latex and the vivid blue and white of the inflatable toys gives the series a color contrast that works immediately and would not have been easy to plan deliberately.

The mood throughout is relaxed and genuinely playful rather than performed; Alexandra wanted the pool session, and the series reflects that ownership. The expression is contemplative rather than energetic, which sits interestingly against the inherently lighthearted prop choices and keeps the series from tipping into something too casual.

The Adriana Latex piece is worth noting in particular; the ruffled skirt detail gives the body a sculptural quality that plain latex would not, and it holds its shape even in the pool environment, which is not a given with latex construction.
