Fun in the Bathtub
This shoot was pure fun and playfulness wrapped in latex and laughter. Arya wanted something lighthearted after several technical fashion sessions, so we went for a spontaneous idea, her in bright colors, squeezed into a fitted latex outfit, and placed right into the bathtub. The mix of glossy black, green, and blue worked surprisingly well against the tub’s neutral white. It felt cheerful and bold, not serious or staged. Then came Raymond’s twist: he brought out the ballet heels.
The heels changed the tone instantly. Anyone who has ever tried them knows how impossible they seem. Arya gave it a try, quickly finding out that what looks effortless in photos takes real skill. But instead of frustration, she turned it into humor. The image of her holding the showerhead like a phone, half-laughing, says everything: confidence mixed with self-irony in one frame. That’s what made the composition work; it wasn’t about control or perfection; it was about personality and charm.
Creatively, this shoot showed another side of Arya. She doesn’t always need sharp lighting or dramatic poses to radiate style. Here, her natural joy becomes the visual centerpiece. The contrast between precise materials and relaxed emotion adds to the uniqueness. It reminds me that style isn’t always about mastery; sometimes it’s about simply owning the moment, even if that means laughing flat on your back in ballet heels you can’t walk in yet.
