Layers of Latex Fashion

The series builds an outfit from three layers of black latex worn simultaneously, a combination that results in something noticeably heavier and thicker than any single piece would be. A short latex dress with a ruffled hem and a distinctive white stripe panel running vertically down the chest sits as the outermost layer, over full-length latex leggings and long black latex gloves that extend past the elbow. The stripe detail on the chest is the visual anchor of the series; scalloped white latex panels against the black create a graphic element that draws the eye upward and gives the otherwise all-black look a clear focal point. Heavy studded platform boots with embossed branding finish the outfit at the base.

The layering was Hermione's way of navigating from the inside, and she noted that once she was in it, the weight and thickness were worth it.
