Guest Shoot in Shiny Orange
The series documents a single collaboration with Laura von Lee, centered on a deep-orange latex catsuit that covers her from wrist to ankle and closes with a high neck. The color is the dominant element of the shoot; against the neutral grey studio background, the saturated warm tone and the material's reflective surface draw the eye immediately, and the black platform knee boots create a clean break at the lower leg that grounds the look without competing with it. A small dark floral motif on the hip adds a quiet detail to an otherwise uninterrupted surface.
Laura moves through the series with composure; her poses are confident, and her expressions are relaxed, making the result visually strong regardless of her personal takeaway from the experience. She mentioned feeling good in the suit but also somewhat undressed, which is a reaction the material tends to produce; a full catsuit covers everything and reveals everything simultaneously, and that particular quality of latex is not something that translates well in the abstract until someone actually wears it. The shoot captures her at ease with the look, even if the material itself was not what she had anticipated.
Because this remained a single shoot, the series stands as a complete and self-contained body of work rather than the beginning of an ongoing collaboration. What it documents is clear: a model who carries the aesthetic well, a color choice that works precisely because of its intensity, and a straightforward studio concept that lets the catsuit and the boots speak without any additional layers of styling to distract from them.
