A steel chain drops from above and connects to leather cuffs at the wrist, Alexandra Potter reaching up to hold the hook while her weight shifts into a wide diagonal stance across the studio floor. The black latex catsuit covers everything from collar to toe, the gloves extending the seal to the fingertips, and the black lace-up satin ballet heels keep her on point at both feet. The collar sits at the neck, visible against the high turtleneck of the catsuit.

The series comes with a video, and the physical dynamic of the setup makes clear why: the chain, the stance, the stretch of the body against the pull from above are all things that read better in motion than in a single frame. Alexandra had fun with it, and that energy carries through the stills regardless.
