Perfect Black and Red Mix Up

The series presents Hermione Jones in a fully committed black-and-red latex combination — red net shirt, red leggings, and red gloves layered beneath a black latex skirt, corset, and a full-length black latex coat that opens dramatically across the frame. The steel neck corset and wrist cuffs provide the hardware continuity that runs through her best series, and the corset laced tight beneath the coat adds structural precision to a look that has considerable volume and movement elsewhere. Glasses complete the styling with the same deadpan quality they brought to her earlier office work.

The color blocking between the red and black is handled with enough thought to avoid the obvious. The net shirt introduces texture against the solid red leggings below and the black latex above, creating a middle layer that prevents the two colors from simply sitting adjacent without interaction.

The coat's scale and the way it moves through the series give the images a dramatic quality that her previous outdoor and studio work had built toward without quite arriving at it. This is a strong series in her body of work on the site.
