Latex Lifestyle
Full Pink Mirror Shoot
The series pairs Jannina with her own reflection in matching pink latex catsuits—the mirror doubling the visual while the steel collar and wrist cuffs anchor both versions of her presence with the same hardware. The all-pink environment, overexposed and nearly white, removes almost all spatial reference and lets the latex surface carry the entire image; the color reads somewhere between soft and synthetic, deliberately artificial in a way that suits both the material and the concept.
The restriction element served a practical creative purpose here. Limiting her range of movement redirected her attention inward and toward the mirror, producing a more focused quality across the series than open-direction shoots sometimes yield. The cuffs and chains become compositional elements as much as accessories, their steel finish the only tonal break in an otherwise monochromatic pink field.
What the series produces is something closer to a visual study than a conventional shoot—two identical silhouettes, one real and one reflected, the boundary between them softened by the overexposed light and the uniformity of the styling. It holds together as a concept precisely because the setup was simple and the execution committed.
