Second Shoot & Mask Special

The series moves Jannina into white latex for her second shoot. The catsuit, paired with a black-trimmed slip bra and a latex underbust corset, creates a two-tone combination that reads cleanly in black and white, with the graphic contrast between the pieces doing the visual work that color would otherwise carry. Wedge boots ground the styling with the same deliberate weight as her debut series, establishing continuity across the two shoots.

The second half of the series introduces a black latex cat mask and rope work, a significant tonal shift that Jannina moved into on her own initiative. The mask changes the dynamic entirely—anonymity, theatricality, a different kind of presence—and the white-on-white environment, with natural rope, creates images that sit closer to fine art than to fashion documentation. That the series was subsequently offered to magazines and newspapers reflects the range it covers; the model, captured in the same shoot, gives editors a genuine choice.

For a second outing, the willingness to push further into unfamiliar territory says something about where her work was heading.
