Black & Shiny Latex Girl

This shoot with Kathryn Arliss began as a black latex catsuit session with a laced corset and long gloves, her collar finishing the look at the neckline against a plain white studio backdrop. The glossy black material stayed the visual constant throughout, its clean lines catching light in broad, even sweeps.

The original plan had aimed at something more elaborate, working masks and ballet heels into an art-focused concept, but that direction simply didn't suit her, and the shoot adjusted accordingly rather than forcing it. Kathryn held confident, grounded poses instead, hands settled on her hips, weight balanced easily, letting the platform boots and corset's structure speak for the outfit without any added elements that weren't working for her.

Finished with tall black platform boots, the whole series stayed cohesive and true to what actually suited her on the day. It's a solid, classic set that shows the value of adjusting a concept in the moment rather than sticking to a plan that isn't landing.
