Latex in the Summer Outlook

This shoot with Grace Stout set out to answer a genuine styling question: how latex might work within a summer-appropriate outfit, and the resulting series paired black latex thigh-high stockings and gloves with a soft draped top and camo denim shorts. Shot in black and white against a corrugated metal door and concrete wall, the monochrome treatment gave the mix of textures, glossy latex, worn denim, and matte fabric a clean, graphic clarity.

Keeping the latex confined to the stockings and gloves lets the rest of the outfit stay light and genuinely warm-weather appropriate, proving the material doesn't need to cover the whole body to feel like a deliberate styling choice. Grace's collar remained a constant at the neckline throughout, while her raised arm and confident, angled stance gave the series real energy against the stark, minimal backdrop.

The combination worked well as a practical answer to the original question, latex stockings and gloves adding just enough shine and structure to elevate a casual summer outfit without overwhelming it with heat or coverage. It's a good result for a session built around solving a real styling puzzle, and her genuine satisfaction with the outcome comes through clearly in how comfortably she carried the look.
