Flexible Latex Girl on Tiptoes

This shoot with Sandrine Rouche took her out to an old rail yard, all rust, weathered machinery, and glowing late-day light, for a look built around a black latex catsuit with a harness-style corset and buckled straps running across the torso. Her striking bleach-blonde hair, teased up and windswept, and sharp graphic eye makeup gave the series real edge against the industrial backdrop, while warm sunlight flaring through the frame added a cinematic quality to the whole set.

Wearing her metal neck corset throughout, laced tightly into the catsuit's harness detailing, Sandrine brought her genuine flexibility and artistic instincts to a series of dynamic, expressive poses, one arm raised overhead to a rail, weight balanced on the ballet-style boots she was trying out for the first time. That combination of her natural physical control and the demands of the pointed footwear gave the images an interesting tension, poised and deliberate rather than simply standing for the camera.

The rail yard's rough textures, rusted couplings, cracked pavement, and patches of growing grass played nicely against the glossy black latex, giving the shoot a strong sense of place. It's a good result for a session built around pushing into new territory, both in terms of the footwear and the setting, and her artistic sensibility clearly shaped how she moved through it.
