A Ballerina in Highstyle

Working with Shiri van de Loo again, I was curious to see how far we could push both her abilities and the visual demands of the latex styling. For this shoot, she wore Juli Lollipop’s small 18-inch corset, latex stockings, and black pointe shoes, creating a look that combined classical ballet references with a more structured, high-fashion edge.

Naturally, dancing ballet in such a close-fitting corset was far from easy. The outfit demanded adjustment, control, and patience, and that challenge became part of the shoot's character.

Even so, Shiri embraced the difficulty and agreed that the final images made the effort worthwhile. That balance between discipline and elegance is exactly what gives the series its strength, because the photographs capture not just the styling, but also the commitment behind it.
