A Greater Highstyle Portfolio

This shoot with Beth May came from a simple idea: push latex into a cleaner, more fashion-driven space without stripping away its edge. The yellow shirt was intentionally loud, almost confrontational, and that was the point. Against the deep shine of the latex leggings, it creates friction rather than harmony, which I find more interesting. The gold high heels finish the line visually, adding height and a certain confidence that reads immediately in the posture. I kept the setting neutral and honest so the materials could do the work without distraction.

What stands out to me is how the contrast shifts the conversation. Latex is often expected to dominate a look, but here it shares control. The shirt pulls the eye up, the legs pull it back down, and the balance keeps moving. From another perspective, some might see this as fashion first with latex as an accent, while others may read it the opposite way. Both interpretations are valid, and that tension is something I actively leave unresolved in the frame.
