In the Woods With Wet Latex

Valerie Tramell is back, and this time we headed into the woods to escape the worst of the summer heat. The idea was simple: use the shade and cooler air to make working in latex more manageable. In reality, it still got hot fast. From my perspective, that contrast made the shoot stronger. Black latex against green surroundings always works, and Valerie knows exactly how to use that tension between control and heat to her advantage.

As the temperature climbed, Valerie decided to go further and walked straight into the lake to cool down. Watching her move into the water wearing a latex dress and a tightly laced corset shifted the shoot immediately. It stopped being just visual and became physical. Swimming in latex is restrictive and heavy, and she treated it like play rather than a limitation. I stayed focused on capturing how the wet latex changed its shine, weight, and movement around her body.

From another perspective, this shoot clearly shows Valerie’s mindset. She does not avoid discomfort; she works with it. Heat, water, corset, and latex, layered together, create a situation most people would never attempt.
