The Ultimate Ballet Heels Girl

Alexandra Potter is a new face, and she brings something genuinely rare to the table. This shoot marks the beginning of what I see as her path to becoming the ultimate ballet-heels girl. Ballet heels, also known as ballet boots, are not forgiving footwear. Most people struggle to even stand in them. Alexandra walks in them as if she were wearing sneakers, calm, stable, and fully in control. From my perspective, that alone changes how these boots can be photographed.

What impressed me most was how natural everything looked once she started moving. There was no stiffness, no visible effort, no need to pause or reset constantly. That freedom allowed me to shoot differently. I could focus on lines, posture, and flow instead of compensating for limitations. She brings a fresh perspective to ballet heels, not by exaggerating them, but by normalizing what is usually seen as extreme. That confidence reads clearly in the images.
